MySealant 2K is a water-based two-component polyurethane barrier varnish that has high resistance to abrasion. It is indicated for protection of the microcement coating, as it increases mechanical resistances. Finishes in super matte, matte, satin, and gloss.
Its high-performance provides the microcement support with excellent chemical resistances as well. If you're looking for a reliable interior sealing, this is your varnish. It does not yellow in exteriors.
It is a product that does not emit harmful volatile organic substances for the environment and is solvent-free.
In addition, being sealed prevents the fixation of dirt on the microcement, which facilitates the cleaning of the coating.

The first step is to apply MyCover as a pore primer so that later MySealant 2K, as a bicomponent water-based polyurethane varnish, can create the perfect protective film. 4 hours must pass after the application of MyCover.
MySealant 2K is applied on the microcement coating in two layers and the drying time between layers is from 8 to 24 hours, depending on the environmental conditions and taking into account that humidity delays drying. After the first layer, the surface must be sanded with a 400 grain ligra, while the last layer does not need any sanding.
It should not be applied in environments with a temperature below 15ºC and for optimal results, it is advisable to apply it at temperatures ranging between 18 and 24ºC. The polyurethane varnish can be applied with a fiber roller or a spray gun.
- Do not clean the surface with chemicals or cleaners containing abrasive substances. The use of bleach and detergents is especially contraindicated.
- Clean the coating with water and MyCleaner or neutral soap
- Do not cover the microcement seal until two weeks have passed since the application
- Before wetting it, the polyurethane varnish must be allowed to dry for at least one week. It should be noted that the fullness of its chemical properties is reached after two weeks.
